Barrister Imran Ahmad was born on 1 July 1981 in Islamabad, into a Punjabi family. His father, Zahoor Ahmad, and mother, Surriya Begum, originally hailed from Tehsil Shakargarh, District Narowal.
Barrister Imran Ahmad hails from a family of public servants, with his father retired from the Ministry of Interior and his mother from the Punjab Education Department.
Barrister Imran Ahmad joined the Government Civil Service after completing PCS/PMS in 2008. Later in 2011, he was inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS), where he held various distinguished positions including Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, and Secretary. He has 17 years of extensive experience in Law and Administration.
